Alcon Launches Precision7
Alcon introduces Precision7 contact lenses, a revolutionary weekly disposable lens with ACTIV-FLO® technology. Available November 2024 in select US markets.

Alcon has officially introduced Precision7, a new generation of contact lenses designed for seven-day wear. This innovative weekly format offers a convenient alternative for wearers who find daily lenses impractical and monthly lenses too long-lasting.
Precision7 Launch Timeline
Precision7 contact lenses first became available in November 2024 through select eye care professionals in the United States. A wider U.S. rollout is scheduled for January 2025, with international launches planned for a later date.
Overview of the Precision7 Lens Range
The Precision7 lineup includes two options: Precision7 and Precision7 for Astigmatism. Both lenses are made from a silicone hydrogel material composed of 55% water and 45% serafilcon A. They incorporate Alcon’s new 7-day ACTIV-FLO® System, developed to maintain consistent comfort throughout the week.
Advancing Contact Lens Wear
Weekly contact lenses represent a notable step forward in contact lens technology. By bridging the gap between daily and monthly lenses, Precision7 provides a balanced solution that combines convenience with eye health benefits.
The ACTIV-FLO® System works by integrating a moisturizing agent directly into the lens material, alongside a replenishing agent that continuously releases moisture over seven days. This dual-action approach helps ensure lasting hydration and comfort from the first day of wear to the last.
